Pick Your Own Fruit

We are open five days a week Wednesday- Sunday for fruit picking.

We are open for PYO on a pre-booked system; you can book using the Pick-Your-Own page booking system – strawberries will be on the booking system well into August and quite possibly beyond weather and fruit allowing – beyond that, we will then open our booking system for Pumpkins (in October).

We are nearing the end of the summer fruit season and we therefore don’t have any raspberries, gooseberries or blackcurrants left. Remaining fruits that we do have available for picking are strawberries, blackberries and redcurrants.

As there isn’t as much fruit available, it is now harder to pick. Please note we cannot advise the quantities that will be available for your slot due to the fruit being picked daily.

Pay for what you pick by weight.

As usual, our fruit season starts with Strawberries and will continue through the summer with other fresh fruit including redcurrants, black currants, gooseberries, brambles and of course raspberries.

We ask that you adhere to the social distancing and hygiene measures in place:- (PYO Fruit)

• Observe 2m distancing rules throughout the farm

• Use the one way systems as indicated both getting to the tunnels, within the tunnels and coming back from the tunnels.

• Use Broadslap baskets for picking your fruit.

• Please do not visit if you are suffering COVID symptoms or are unwell.

• Most of all, we want you to be safe and enjoy the experience!

Pumpkin picking rules.

The pumpkin picking rules will be very similar to the fruit, and we ask that you adhere to the social distancing and hygiene measures in place:- (PYO Pumpkins)

Pay for what you pick by size.

• Observe 2m distancing rules throughout the farm

• Use the one way systems as indicated both getting to the tunnels, within the tunnels and coming back from the tunnels.

• Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are unable to provide sledges (as we did last year), but you are welcome to bring your own for ease of pumpkin moving! They are all sizes this year, including some whoppers!!

• Please do not visit if you are suffering COVID symptoms or are unwell.

• Most of all, we want you to be safe and enjoy the experience!

Service with a smile – only the start.

And it’s not just fruit; we offer TAKEAWAY too – we will have some great options to enhance your experience including:-

• Barrista coffee (now this is something we have all been waiting for)

 • Hot and Cold beverages

 • Fruit

 • Homemade Cakes as well as our standard menu and much much more.

 • Pre order fruit and Broadslap Homemade treats box.

Please come and PYO, pick up a coffee, cake or a lite bite for lunch.

Take away your supper ready to heat, add your fruit – the perfect conclusion to a fun-filled day.

We look forward to welcoming you.
